Going to school can be such a drag! But thankfully I only have classes 2 days a week. Another bonus: I get to ride with these 2 boys to school. ---well, USUALLY it's a bonus. This is Adam Hardy and Justin Jackson. Both graduated from EH in 2005 and are going for radiography. Being the only girl, I have to put up with a lot, as well as stick up for us females. I also tolerate hunting story after hunting story--the kids are hunting freaks! When we ride w/ Justin, I get lost in the camouflage in the back seat..it's crazy! A few times, they've played a couple middle school games on me like: moving the truck to the next parking row over, so i stand around and look for it, all the while they're watching me and laughing. Or like when they left me at school and had to turn around and come get me. Did I mention the time Adam told me to dodge the pot hole and I did instinctively before deciding it was a stupid idea since i was driving on 4" of ice? We ended up in a bean field. These are a just a few of the many daily adventures with Adam and Justin. They are like two peas in a pod, perhaps closer than 2 males should be, but it's all in love :) I'm really glad I get to ride with them!!

Behold..the almighty church bus: the only way to get to heaven...right?

Okay, so those of you who didn't ride the church bus last night to Rushville, I put you on my prayer list. We were supposed to meet at the church at 530 to leave. My phone rings at 530...groggily I roll over and answer to a beckoning, "where are you!? are you coming?" --I looked at the clock to realize i had overslept on my little nap.."Uh, I'll just drive separately." So I rode with the parentals instead. On the way home, however, my tushy was on a bus cushy. I was informed that I was only "half-way" to heaven...that would put me somewhere near purgatory. Yikes..I better start on my "Hail, Mary's"!!

I began to think about what if getting on the bus REALLY was my ticket to heaven? But because of my laziness and lack of responsibility, I overslept and missed my ride..ultimately missing out on eternity in heaven? If this was the case, Mirm would be in DEEP trouble! Thankfully, however, God is gracious and his mercies are new every morning, and that is not how we receive eternal bliss. But then I was thinking, "How often have I missed the move of God or even worse, hindered His move because I was too lazy and irresponsible? Because I felt like doing something else?????" Think about it.

We are so blessed that our God is a God of second chances, third chances and sometimes even more. Drew's re-dedication is just one of those extra chances, that he decided to take advantage of. And for that, I'm really excited! We all should be rejoicing with Drew (and the angels of course!) Make sure to say a prayer for Drew this week as he comes to your mind, and even call him to give him a word of encouragement. It's always nice to have help when you're starting something new. We've been talking about the body of Christ a lot on many different blogs. Let's be who we've been talking like we are and let's start by encouraging and blessing others!
