I took this photo on our family vacation to Maine. Isn't it awesome how peaceful and still it seems? Yet, beautiful at the same time? Just like our walk with God--in the quiet times, when we calm ourselves before God, He shows us beautiful things. We just have to remember to get alone and be quiet.

Another summer passed, another school year begun. Oh, the agony! Today was the first day of classes. In music class, my teacher made ME teach the class because of my experience with piano. She also told me i can test out of part of the class...sweet! My religion class will be intense, but i'm going to learn a lot. English class---yes, we're going to have to do some serious rethinking on that one. I think I'm going to drop it..I mean, I can't sit for an hour and a half listening to a man with a monotone voice talk about the american indians. What do Indians and English class have in common? Exactly what I asked.
It was good to see new faces, but more exciting to see old ones. All the hub-bub like, "oh my gosh your hair is gorgeous!" "what classes do you have? oh me too!!" "wanna meet for lunch?" those kinds of things are what make college worth while---the social aspect of it all. who cares about academics? just kidding...nonetheless, studying is inevitable if you want to pass, so here it begins..yay for college!

Ashley, (her mom, Lisa) and I got to go to Paris, France, this summer. We had a BLAST! This girl has been my best friend for about 4 years. Sometimes we didn't talk very often, but that didn't mean we grew apart. We'd just start right off where we left. We have a collection of "Miriam & Ashley Show" videos that quite frankly, are hilarious! She always makes me laugh and pushes me towards Jesus. I hope that I do the same. I love you so much Ash!!

This is my second Mom: Lisa. Many people only know just a little bit about her, but I've had the privilege to get to know her for the past 10 years or so. But recently in the past 2-3 years, we've bonded..yes, yes we have. I love her so stinkin much! Sometimes I forget that she's old enough to be my mom, because she's just so much stinkin fun! Not to mention, she has a freakin awesome daughter, which i'll post about her later. Anyway, Lisa i love you so much and i'm so glad you let me hang out with you. Coming out of the Stone Age

I figure since everyone else is doing it, why shouldn't I? I mean really, it's the new 'fad'! I'm not sure how much writing I'll be able to do once school starts (ohh the agony!), but i'll try my best to be on here every once and a blue moon. Most of you who will be reading this have known me my whole life, so I don't really feel the need to do any background info. I'm a picture freak, so you can look forward to seeing tons of pictures...and please feel free to comment! Since I'm just starting off, i'm going to need some encouragement and feedback!
