Ashley and I put on a golden edition of the "Miriam & Ashley Show" for the "No Talent Required" night at church last Sunday. Whether or not people laughed is not important, because Ash and I had a great time, and we laughed at ourselves. :) Cute hats by the way, don't you think?

Who You Are
How awesome are you, O God?
The trees bow down and the rocks cry out;
to proclaim and testify of the beauty and
splendor of who you are,
Who you are.
How awesome are you, O God?
To stop the flood rains,
To command the storm to cease.
To demonstratie the mighty power of who you are,
Who you are.
How awesome are you, O God?
That nothing happens by chance,
But You orchestrate everything
with a purpose to show the Sovreignty of who you are,
Who you are.
You are worthy,
You are mighty,
You are holy,
You are God.
May you always be glorified.
The trees bow down and the rocks cry out;
to proclaim and testify of the beauty and
splendor of who you are,
Who you are.
How awesome are you, O God?

Beth Roseann Solomon
This is my little bethie, but she is not so little anymore. She's bigger than me now and has been for quite some time. When we were little we always play-pals. we did everything together: Barbies, babydolls, office, ticket booth, riding bikes, games during naptime :), "silent" games at bedtime, codes that only we knew, "storm", along with other made up games.
when i was 2 and beth was about 9 months old, mom left beth in her punkin seat in the living room while she went to the kitchen real fast. she came back and beth was gone. where was she, you ask? well duh, i was being the good big sister and i was reading her a story, behind the bathroom door, with both our blankies. i suppose i sort of dragged her to the bathroom?? we're not sure...but she was okay.
i trailed her on my bike one time, and i lost control and we hit a tree. she was ok, because she was on the back, but i slid forward and fell HARD onto the bar...it was definitely one of those times where your mouth just hangs open, you can't cry or laugh because there's way too much pain..but she was ok :)
for a while growing up, we fought like most normal siblings. but when we reached high school and cindy and charis were out of the house--beth and i began a new "sistership". everybody including family still have troubles understanding it, but beth and i no longer fight, we debate. yes we raise our voices and cut each other off, but it's only because we're trying to get our points across and finally we come to an agreement or else we drop it. but hardly ever do we come out of it with angry hearts. we just work like that.
recently beth and i have grown closer. charis is living in her own apt with her hubby phil, and cindy lives up in michigan. so bethie and i have some serious bonding time. hah! one night we laid in bed, her on her side of the room and me on my side, carrying on conversation for 2 hours until 2am. i love my little bethie so so much. this doesn't mean that i love either of my other sisters less, i love them all the same: joy, cinny kay, and thune (beth's nickname--but it's only for family, so don't try and use it :). but the reason i'm writing this is because she's in the dominican republic right now on her senior class missions' trip. i miss her tons. this week has been pretty boring (and quiet, hehe) without her. like tonight, i wanted to go play in the snow because beth and i always play in the first snow of the year together, no matter what time it is...but she's not here. she'll be home tomorrow though and i'm so excited to see her! I LOVE YOU BETHIE-POO!
